Steps
1
Understand that, no matter
how simple the request, a man always thinks about how important you are
to him, and in the current situation. And, mentally put the item in
question on scale of 0-10. 10, is that the situation can wait a year,
and 0 is an extreme life and death emergency!
- Many times, it never reaches a 4 on this scale. and lends more in 5 or even a 7! This is because men tend to see everything in tree categories.
-
2Know if you need to move away from what you are doing now to switch to a new task. This means, is it worth the effort to drop what you am doing now?
-
3Know how long it will take. Is the task in question simple and fast? This typically will automatically be pushed further down the line of importance, due to the fact that we think we can do it anytime we wish.
-
4Do the work, and don't be lazy. Simply things and attack things head on. Always look for the simplest and find a path of less resistance in order to resolve it.
-
5Demonstrate this in action on a simple but persistent issue. For an example, demonstrate it in an issue of thrown on the floor dirty socks right next to the bed, or, even worse, next to the bin! Say something like, "How hard is it to move a hand 1/2 an inch more to drop them into the bin?"
-
6When you told him a million times and he just looks at you with those puppy eyes and smiles, do the following:
- Ask him in a relaxed and simple manner. Don't raise or pitch your voice. Don't ask when he is relaxing, as that will irritate him.
- Ask playfully and even romantically! Don't stress it. Sometimes a few playful hints can drive man to greatness!
- Ask when he is already listening and is ready to be open to it. don't load him many things or a give him a to-do-list! he is not a 5 year-old who needs his mommy to tell him to brush his teeth! he will reject and hastily finish the list skimping or altogether skipping items. the next list will simply get lost or mysteriously appear a few weeks later in your purse! - simply put - cover one issue at a time!
