Steps
1
Decide who you want to talk to about sex.The
best person to talk to would be a good friend in whom you can confide
and who won't talk about you behind your back. Your friend should
preferably be of your own gender, but a good friend of the opposite sex
can often give you insights that one of your sex cannot. Make sure that
you are comfortable talking to him or her.-
2Tell that person that you need to talk about sex for educational purposes and not as a prelude to having sex. Ask her or him to come to a place where the two of you will not be overheard. It might be awkward at first, but will become easier after you get into the subject. Don't start with very awkward topics. Start by asking where she/he first found out about it, then steer the conversation towards the questions that you really wanted to ask.

3Make sure you are having a dialogue, not a monologue. This means that you should not be the only person talking. If your friend looks uncomfortable, ask her/him whether s/he is comfortable continuing. If s/he isn't, stop immediately and talk about something else. Otherwise, continue.
