    Read your partners body language. If they are not joining in with the activity, giving reciprocal touch, moving away from you, or trying to leave, They aren't ready.

    Listen to their tone of voice. For example, if they say, "I've never done this before," in a worried voice, they are probably afraid and not ready. But, if they are saying it in a curious, coercing voice, then they are interested in going all the way.
