There are plenty of people who avoid drinking caffeinated coffee, believing it could lead to all sorts of negative health effects. Yet recent research has shown that a moderate amount of coffee could be the key to helping reduce the risk of some serious illnesses and diseases. Many people drink coffee simply because of it's energizing effects which help keep you awake longer and feeling less groggy in the morning. Consuming too much coffee can indeed have some negative effects on your health regardless of the fact that these studies seem to say otherwise. This article will look at some of the potential health effects drinking coffee could have on you.

Coffee has definitively been associated with increased risk of infertility in women as well as a risk of birth defects. There are markedly more stillbirth deliveries inwomen who say they drank coffee throughout pregnancy. Research also shows that the effects of drinking 2 or more cups of caffeinated coffee each day can double the risk of miscarriage during the early stages of pregnancy. Coffee drinking mothers can also find that their newborn babies have a lower than average birth weight. Switching to a less caffeinated version isn't going to make a big difference because of the harmful chemicals used in the removal proces.

One disease that is drastically reduced in risk with coffee is cirrhosis of the liver. This condition is typically found in those suffering from chronic liver disease. These nodules typically stop liver functionality completely over time. The anti-fibrotic properties in caffeine may benefit some people who drink alot of coffee. Liver cancer incidences are significantly decreased with the link in caffeine.

As if it wasn't enough to be concerned about the health impact of coffee you also need to be aware of a potential impact on your beauty. Teeth are often stained, browned, or yellowed as a result of drinking coffee regularly. Dry skin can often be the result of dehydration by drinking too much coffee. Wrinkles in the hands and face are often the first visible sign if dry skin. Dry skin can further be recognized in the appearance of stretch marks or in stretch marks become more visible.

In conclusion, drinking a moderate amount of coffee isn't harmful. Don't forget about the health risks associated with drinking large amounts of coffee. Watch your caffeine intake. Moderation is key here.
