Safety Tips For Attending Events
First events are exciting, however, always take precautions and use the following guidelines.

Tell a friend.
Inform a friend or family member of your plans and when and where you’re going. If you own a mobile phone, make sure you have it with you.

Stay sober.
Do not do anything that would impair your judgment and cause you to make a decision you could regret.

Drive yourself to and from the first event.
Just in case you are not enjoying yourself or you feel uncomfortable, you want to have a way to leave– even if you take a taxi.

Leave personal items at home or in a secure place.
You don’t want to risk having personal information stolen. If you’re drinking, keep your drink with you at all times so it can’t be tampered with.

Stay in a public place.
It is best not to go back to a member’s home or bring them back to yours. If a member pressures you, contact the event host, manager of the event’s location or leave at once.

Issue with another member
We do not want to be involved with issues between members. However, if you feel it is something you can not take care of yourself you should contact the event host, if it is during an event or you can also email Gregg and Linda, Organizers.

Issue with an event host
If you have an issue with the event host, and you feel uncomfortable talking to them about it. email
Gregg and Linda, Organizers. If you have an issue with the event. Talk to the event host about it. They want everyone to have a good time and may not be aware there is an issue. Always remember the host is doing this for no pay.
