Steps
1
Find a perfect day. When
your teacher, principal, assistant principal, or whoever is responsible
for assigning your detention assigns your detention, ask for a perfect
day. Rumor has it that the best day to serve a detention is on a
Thursday. But you don't have to do Thursday if you don't want to. Also,
make sure you are willing to do the time that day and don't have
anything to do.-
2Keep yourself occupied! The adults with detention duty may tell you this anyway. This is so you have something to do to pass the time.

3See the tips for items that should and should not be brought.
-
4Keep an eye on the time. In other words, know what time the detention ends, so when you're dismissed, you won't have to sweat about packing your things away in time. This is why organization is a priority.
-
5Get friendly with the teacher so they may not be so hard on you at the detention.
