Part 1 of 2: Dental care
-
1Brush your teeth day and night. Once after breakfast, and once before night. Don't forget the back of the teeth.
-
2Rinse your mouth with warm water. The hot water will kill the germs in your mouth.
-
3Use mouthwash. Pour 20ml of the mouthwash into your mouth, rinse around your mouth for 30 seconds, gargle, spit out.
-
4Floss. Floss once a day. At night time is more convenient. Don't just floss your front teeth, the back too!
-
5Keep your tongue clean. Brush it daily.
-
6Go to the dentist every six months. Cavities cause bad breath, and after a while, pain. And if your don't get them checked every six months, you won't just get bad breath but could also get *gulps* root canal or an extraction!
-
7Whiten your teeth. Whitening your teeth can create the illusion that you have nice breath, because people with white teeth usually have nice smelling breath as they're taking good care of their dental hygiene.
Part 2 of 2: Sweetening the breath
-
1Chew sugarless mint gum. This will keep your breath smelling good for the day.
-
2Cut down on the sugar. Kit-Kat bars and skittles cause bad breath. Along with pop, coke and Pepsi.
-
3Chew on a mint constantly. Do this for at least 5 minutes.
-
4Use some mouth spray. This will fortify the freshness.
