1.  Head-to-Toe

Take a cue from Beth Behrs and go head-to-toe metallic. With this style you have the option to wear gold, silver, or bronze heels and look absolutely glam. Make note: a revealing mini calls for a closed-toed option like these Giuseppe Zanotti pointed pumps. Less is more when it comes to jewelry; let your shoes shine through!    How to wear them in the New Year? Gold pumps add a casual-chic touch to distressed denim and a blazer.
 2.  Silver Pop

Pair metallic heels with a midi-skirt to create a "party on the bottom" look! Ashley from Pursuit of Shoes  goes ballet-chic with her silver J. Crew heels. The double ankle strap adds additional support that keeps them comfy party after party. Check out White House Black Market for a similar pair of silver heels.
Come the New Year, we see these silver beauties with your favorite black ponte pants and oversized knit sweater for a casual night out.
Shoe tip: be careful as ankle straps tend to make full calves look bigger, especially with long dresses and skirts. There are plenty of metallic heel options out there, so pursue the best one for you.

3.  Accentuate the Details

Who says pantsuits are boring? Selena Gomez adds a touch of gold with her heels to accentuate the shoulder details. She's also leveraging our favorite trick: pair pointed-toe pumps with long pants to make legs look miles long.
Wearing trousers this season? Try this Charles David for a similar pair of metallic heels and don't forget that tailoring is key to avoid any party mishaps or falls.
Style these beauties in the New Year with a black pencil skirt, blouse, and faux fur vest for an office to date night look.

4.  Black & White

Take a basic black & white ensemble and spice it up with silver heels just like Jennifer Aniston. Aniston is the queen of classic black but even she needs a little "oomph" now and then. Get her exact Christian Louboutin style here. Don't forget to add a matching bag or jewelry to tie the whole look together.
Needless to say, there's endless ways to style Christian Louboutin all year long! These are heels that dream shoe closets are made of.

5.  Monochromatic

When in doubt, go monochromatic on top and add shine with heels and accessories. Red and wine colors are always a festive option, but this works for an LBD as well. Think of metallic heels as a way to revive a previously worn holiday dress, skirt, or pantsuit. Psst... we're definitely seeing a trend in pointed-toe pumps right now.

Not a fan of pointed-toe pumps? Almost all of these looks can be replaced with gold or silver sandals. Don't forget about the pedicure! We've dubbed metallic heels a neutral - keep a pair at your desk or in your trunk for impromptu parties or events (all year long), and your feet will thank you. Remember that shoes are the best accessory, even better when they shine!
