  1. Post to your profile status update line 3-4 times per week, include in those days a weekend day. Tip: Use a social media scheduling tool to help you do this so you’re not tied to your computer.
  2. Share your posts in groups that your clients frequent.
  3. Be sure your profile allows for long-posts. You can apply for this at on LinkedIn’s Help page.
  4. Share company blog posts you wrote in your personal, long-post status update (this is a much longer status update than what’s traditionally used).
  5. Join active industry-specific groups where your long-post status updates may be shared.
  6. Share, Like, and Comment on your profile’s status feed posts from others, and also share those posts on other social media platforms, such as Twitter, Google Plus, and Facebook.
  7. Remember to use a strategic hashtag now and again that aligns with what you or your company wants to be “known” for, such as #MarketingTips, #EBPAuditor, #SEOGuru, etc.
