Apply foundation before commencing with the following steps. The lighter the foundation, the better.

   Purchase or obtain a large-sized make-up brush. Using the brush, dust baby powder all over your face, neck, and arms. The aim of doing this is to achieve a pale, almost sickly, powdered 18th century look. In the age of Marie Antoinette, it was fashionable to be extremely pale. A really white powder tone would be suitable for replicating this appearance.

   Apply dark brown eyeshadow on your eyebrows. Do this with an angled makeup brush, as it works best for creating dramatic arches.
