As a citizen of the world in 2015, there are a million and one things to remember - phone numbers, atm pins, email passwords...the list is endless.
There's also mundane everyday things like lunch with the girls or dinner with bae.
Indeed, the world is a constant race and while there are technological inventions to help us with this never ending race, sometimes we still need to rely on our good, ol', fashioned brains for help with remembering things and this is where diet comes in.
Research has proven that a vast intake of certain amounts of foods greatly helps the memory, in turn easing the process of recollecing.
Here are some of them:

  1. Curry: Who knew our trusty old spice which we can always count on to pack some punch to our meals could help with our memories? Now we know, According to research, curcumin, a core ingredient in curry slows formation of plaque deposits  (aka amyloid) in the brain which is linked to the development of Alzheimers disease - an acute disease which impairs the memory, thought, speech untill he patient is completely helpless. Curry  also helps prevent cancer and heart diseases.
  2. Coffee: We've talked about the benefits of drinking coffee, in addition researchers have found that drinking coffee increases brain activity in two locations including one involved with memory.
  3. Chocolate: Yep, that's right. Dark chocolate which is rich in cocoa is a healthy source of flavonoids and antioxidants which have been linked to brain health.  Furthermore, it improves blood flow to the brain, resulting in better functioning and improved memory.
  4. Salmon: We love the taste of salmon and according to research, salmon in turn shows some good love to the brain as it contains omega-3 fatty acids which improves memory recall.
