Fitness outfit

culled from:http://pulse.ng

On the 31st of December, last year, almost everyone ushered in  the new year with resolutions, like i will work out every day, loose ten pounds this year, and so on.
If we are honest with ourselves, most of us will admit to loosing our motivation to go meet our goals despite all those well meant resolutions and its only February, the second month of the year.
All hope is not lost though, as we have five ways to remain motivated and stay on the right track.
  1. Be committed - its not enough to just say you will do something, show your commitment by making sure you find someone who will always keep you motivated and never let you slip up, it could be a friend, that way you feel guilty for letting them down or a trainer, you have to pay whether you cancel or show up.
  2. Do it in the morning - i know not everyone is a morning person, but its a lot easier to exercise early, this way, you get that out of the way and have no reason to talk yourself out of it.
  3. Put out your outfit- its easy to find motivation if you lay out your outfit the night before. This way, you won't be able to use the 'i could not find my sneakers' excuse and you will feel guilty if you walk past it the next morning,so, it works both ways.
  4. Do something- most people who have not exercised in years or months find it hard to get back on the horse and the lack of motivation sets in. You do not have to start big, the important thing is to do something, anything from five push ups, skipping ten times, to walking instead of taking a bike somewhere. Just remember to do something you did not do the day before and do not leave up to three days between work outs.
  5. Start today- you do not have to wait for a major event to motivate yourself, the important thing is to start, it gets easier from there.
